The EMS Foundation has been in negotiation with Minister Creecy since the 16th of December 2020 with regard to releasing Charlie, the bull elephant currently living at the National Zoological Gardens, the Pretoria Zoo into their care.
The EMS Foundation has been widely supported by the members of Pro Elephant Network.
